Balmat DJs (Lapsus / Spain)
Albert Salinas and Philip Sherburne founded the Balmat label in 2021 after three years as co-hosts of Lapsus Radio, a weekly show on Spain’s Radio 3. Balmat’s mission is simple: to foster new ideas, expand upon personal obsessions, and put all-encompassing sounds out into the world. But where Lapsus Radio focuses on a wide range of electronic sounds, encompassing everything from IDM to techno to footwork, the duo’s sets together typically skirt the edges of the dancefoor, if not steering clear of it altogether.
True to the experimental spirit of Mediterranean and Balearic electronic traditions, Balmat DJs are interested in creating enveloping environments that incorporate ambient music, atmospheric soundscaping, and low-BPM rhythms—music with a cloudy outline yet a distinct sensibility.
“Balmat” means “empty” or “void” in Catalan. But quite apart from any negative connotations, they prefer to think of it in terms of possibility: a space waiting to be filled.

D.Humo (Escala de Grisos / Spain)
David is a die-hard record collector who has been playing around the North of Spain and across Europe for over fifteen years, particularly in Barcelona where he’s played in most of the main clubs. He normally builds his sets with a selection of hypnotic, tribal and deep music.
For over three years he’s been focused on Escala de Grisos, his monthly local radio show, where he intersperses ambient, techno and anything in between with conversation and interviews around the music.

LF58 (Astral Industries / Italy) - Live -
LF58 is the formidable live electronic project founded by Giuseppe Tillieci AKA Neel, and multi-disciplinary artist Filippo Scorcucchi. Fascinated by the possibilities offered within the realm of experimental and ambient music, continuous research has led them to increasingly boundless and mystical sonic territories.
The like-minded duo began their collaboration in 2015, officially presenting the project two years later with their first release on ASC’s Auxiliary imprint. The scope of the project seemed tacitly clear from the outset – far inter-planetary expedition and rigorous philosophical inquiry. Elegantly interwoven by one another, the modular systems they have built strike the balance between soul and machine, combining to create one body of intelligence.
With recent shows including Café OTO, Draaimolen and Freerotation festivals, LF58 are set to release their debut album on Astral Industries on 6th April 2020. Alterazione presents a critical statement – distinguished by its technical execution and breathtaking artistry. The album itself is a cathedral of sound, each cavernous chamber an exploration of space and consciousness. Presented in four movements (one track per side), altogether they extend as a transportive experience of evolution for the listener.

LOG - Live - Ulla (Experiences Ltd / United States) + Perila (Smalltown Supersound, Paralaxe Editions / Russia)
Ulla (Ulla Straus) is an artist by ways from Kansas and California, and currently based in Philadelphia. She has released music on an array of labels such as Quiet Time, Experiences Ltd, West Mineral Ltd, and her most recent record Limitless Frame on Motion Ward.
In 2020, Ulla released her critically acclaimed Tumbling Towards A Wall which has received praise as one of the best albums of 2020 from Resident Advisor, Pitchfork, Washington Post, and Bandcamp. Ulla has also collaborated with a number of other artists including Perila, Pontiac Streator, Exael, and Ben Bondy.
Perila: What do we mean when we say that substance matters?
Perila is a St. Petersburg-born, Berlin-based sound and visual artist, DJ and performer exploring sensitive borderlines and depths of subtle matter. Her sets are thick narratives drifting through rich sound palettes, immersing the listener in their own personal trip.
By constantly shifting moods and textures in her mixes, Perila creates a comfortable yet deep space for emotions to float, merge, evaporate and ride out.
Perila also constructs intimate visual and contextual performative layers to affect the listener, and challenge and overcome boundaries and dimensions.

Nono (Delicalisten / Spain)
Currently a researcher of avant-garde music and the intersection between art and technology, Nono has extensive experience in the design, production and development of cultural activities. She is also Director of Delicalisten, a platform from which she curates music and visual arts events, and curator of the Soundset Festival (Conde Duque). She has programmed the DNIT Cycle at CaixaForum Barcelona since 2012, and has worked for a number of major festivals including L.E.V., Primavera Sound and Mutek.
A vinyl collector since childhood, Nono creates sets that transport the listener to experience deep sensations emerging from the calm.

Timnah Sommerfeldt (Amenthia Recordings / Switzerland)
Timnah Sommerfeld’s signature approach to earthy dance music has been tried, tested and approved by swinging hips all over Europe. Developing her style from age 17 onwards, when she started playing in squats and industrial spaces around Basel, she’s continuously making her mark with warm, reverberating techno cuts from across the spectrum. During her residencies at Hinterhof Bar and nowadays, Elysia, Sommerfeldt’s sets fluently cover (and transcend) shades of electro, techno and house music, establishing her as a firm favorite amongst dancers and peers. Smooth mixing skills, strong emotional narratives and an intuitive understanding of dancefloor dynamics continue to define her style, seamlessly cruising through the small hours of the night.

Vicki Siolos (Bright Patterns / United States)
Vicki Siolos is an ambient, experimental DJ and interaction designer from New York City. Her career focuses around creating seamless experiences for broad audiences, using trusted methods and casting personal bias aside. Her mixes are intended as the complete opposite, heard each month on her radio show Bright Patterns: a freeform exploration of internal absolutes among endless options. Each recording is an attempt to capture life in the moment, inviting everything to the surface as it wants to be heard. She’s also contributed several mixes for Mysteries of the Deep, and her release Kintsugi on enmossed is dedicated to the Japanese art that echoes the resilience within each of us.

Ylia (Animah Records, Paralaxe Editions / Spain) - Live -
Musician, producer and Dj. She came of age DJing breakbeat raves in Andalucia while studying classical piano at the conservatory, and then moved to Barcelona to study modern composition and arrangements at Taller de Musics.
There she became one of the city's most well-regarded musicians, playing at the main city clubs and festivals: Sónar, Primavera Sound, Mutek, MIRA and more.
Her dexterous and ever reliable sets interchange between diverse genres, sometimes ambient and experimental, other times more direct and dance floor friendly.
She released her debut solo album 'Dulce Rendición' at Paralaxe Editions (Barcelona, 2020) while working on collaborative projects with Phran (People You May Know); and Darío del Moral -member of Pony Bravo and Fiera- under the name Bola del Desierto.
Her work includes composing for dance and theatre, radio hostess (La Guarida, Dublab.es), label owner (Animah records), and music teacher (IED, The Bass Valley).
She is a member of experimental flamenco singer Niño de Elche's touring band, performing keyboards and electronics.
