This Thursday,  we will have again Diminuee after his successful show last January. The co-director of the extinct netlabel EscalaRed show us which his strengths are: melodies and subtle atmospheres.

This Thursday Lucid Dreams comes back, the event series focus on ambient and experimental sounds taking place always by night where dreams are confused with reality. This third episode of the series was recorded on November, 2023. After F-on’s contribution, this recording was the second part of the night:  The master of modular synthesis Jose Luis Maire presented a wonderful hour of drone and Urtzi, owner of the label Gailur and the defunct Holly Mountain store delighted us with a very special and extremely personal mix.

For the first week of 2024 and the return of the Espacio Perpendicular weekly program, we have a colorful mix by one of the heads of the EP project, Doozer, responsible for brokenloop podcast series.

This Thursday we have the performances of two regulars to the perpendicular project. Oisatsana who some of you will know for his project How to Levitate, and also Doozer, responsible for the perpetual festival and the new space opened a few months ago in Madrid.

Enjoy 4 hours of ambient in its widest range.

It's time for 3 live acts from some habitual suspects. Javi .Apart delivers a subtle live act performed at the ambient cottage at Perpendicular festival in late May this year. The next performance is coming from Ameeva also performed at the same place, the same weekend. Two live acts which masterfully combine ambient drone and field recordings. The last set is for Javier Marimon, who played some weeks ago at our Perpendicular space, a wonderful and delicate journey through delays and textures.

For this chapter, we have the DJ set that Aa Sudd performed a few weeks ago at Espacio Perpendicular as part of the pre-show of the Sables Mouvants/Alpenglühen party. Aa Sudd, the German artist who is part of the Konsudd project alongside Konduku, delivered a wonderful ambient and downtempo set, perfectly suited for that afternoon gathering.

Following this, we will enjoy Tevor Handa's DJ set, which was performed at the ambient cottage during the Perpendicular Festival in late May of this year. The artist from Seville presented a classic DJ set with a 90's chill-out vibe, skillfully combining various styles, much like the genre's pioneers such as Mixmaster Morris or Alex Patterson.

Espacio Perpendicular radio show at 9128.live presents Onyro by Sciama,  Camu & Forest on Stasys.

Its time for Onyro, a project based in Madrid inspired by the Japanese traditional culture, dedicated to the experimentation and fusion of different styles of avant-garde electronic music. This show was recorded live some weeks ago during the Onyro pre- Party with Forest on Stasys as guest. The first part of the show is driven by the talented Sciama who introduces us into obscure territories. After the Scottish artist, Camu takes the reigns.

Every year in a forest In the centre of Spain there is a private meeting limited to 180 people with the same purpose as Espacio Perpendicular: the pure enjoyment of underground music. The first live act is by STBL, a wonderful journey that explores subtle ambient territories; after him, Paduan, resident DJ at Into the Universes parties in Amsterdam, and regular one at Balamii radio in London carries out a well-driven drone and experimental ambient set. The last hour is for the live performance by Ameeva. A delicate and smooth journey with gentle and hidden melodies, field recordings, and ASMR voices.

This Thursday, August 3rd, starting at 10:00 PM (CET), we'll have an ambient and electronic session which was recorded some nights ago at our space by  "La extraña Pareja". This is a project developed by our beloved Doozer and Alberto Iniesta when they come together to play records.

The first part of the 3rd show is for Camu, one of the responsible for Espacio perpendicular and Calma events, who introduces us into the darkness of the night.

After him two of the most interesting members of the UK underground scene. Hems, producer and record collector, who presents us a electroacoustic and avant gard mix and Eight Fold Way who explores the multidimensionality of sound in his experimental closing mix.

All sets were recorded live at Espacio Perpendicular.

The first Espacio Perpendicular show is Lucid Dreams, an event series focused on ambient and experimental sounds taking place by night, where dreams are confused with reality. The first Lucid Dreams show was recorded live with F-on and Coeval. 

F-on is in charge of the two first hours of the show. Then, Coeval, an underground artist from the experimental scene, and co-director of Sonikas festival takes over until the end.
